2021 Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Lottery
Housing Choice Voucher Program (formerly referred to as: Section 8)
The Federal Government's Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program provides qualified residents with assistance paying for quality housing. As a voucher holder, you will have the ability to choose between participating affordable housing options in the private rental market. As long as your housing choice meets reasonable rent requirements determined by the Indianapolis Housing Agency (IHA), you will pay no more than 30 percent of your monthly adjusted income toward rent and utilities.
