Summer Camp & Out of School Time programming
For 10 weeks in the summer & 2 weeks during spring, our program focuses on STEAM learning curriculum with enrichment goals and outcomes for each child ages 5-15. STEAM represents Science & Technology interpreted through Engineering & the Arts, all based in Mathematical elements.
Students are encouraged to discover something new and to go beyond their comfort level in creativity. Science experiments, community service projects, financial literacy and other fun activities are included in the curriculum.
Students will also have an opportunity to learn how to swim, horseback ride, and participate in 4-H, Boys or Girls Scouts, and cooking classes.

F.L.I.P TEEN Program
Future Leaders In Progress
The Summer Program begins June 4, 2018. This year, FBGNC is happy to announce that The Flip Program now has two programs!
In the FLIP Teen Employee Program, teens will work in our new FLIP Farm Stand initiative.
FBGNC will hire youth ages 15-17 to manage five farm stands during the Crooked Creek Farmers Market. These individuals will work up to 25 hours a week. Each FLIP Teen employee will learn the following:
- Understanding a local food supply chain from local farm directly to the customer
- How to run a small business and set prices
- How to handle a financial transaction and exchange currency
- Accounting, budgeting and banking techniques
- Marketing and promotion of events

FLIP Summer Program
The FLIP Summer program is a summer-long Teen program focusing on strengthening various aspects of students by assisting students in developing leadership and independence skills. This summer program is ideal for youth between the ages of 12 yrs old to 14 yrs old. Summer camp runs from 7:30 am until 5:30pm (additional fee for early drop off or late pick up).
This summer your teen will enjoy multiple programs and activities such as:
- Mentoring and Self-awareness workshops
- Horseback riding
- Bike Riding and daily exercise
- Swimming Lessons
- Field Trips focused on history and culture
- Cooking Lessons
- Entrepreneurship training
